The Peregrine Falcon
Males weigh 330 to 1,000 grams (0.73–2.20 lb) and the noticeably larger females weigh 513 to 1,500 grams (1.131–3.307 lb)
Just to put that in perspective... Guinea pigs weigh between 700 and 1200 g (1.5–2.5 lb)
In 2005, Ken Franklin recorded a falcon stooping at a top speed of 389 km/h (242 mph).
The peregrine falcon is sexually mature at one to three years of age, but in healthy populations they breed after two to three years of age. A pair mates for life and returns to the same nesting spot annually. The courtship flight includes a mix of aerial acrobatics, precise spirals, and steep dives. The male passes prey it has caught to the female in mid-air. To make this possible, the female actually flies upside-down to receive the food from the male's talons.

Bill Maher Speaks Out Against University of Wisconsin--Madison Cat Lab Cruelty.
Published on Oct 8, 2013Comedian and host of HBO's Real Time Bill Maher speaks out in defense of cats who are mutilated, deafened, starved, and eventually killed in cruel brain experiments at the University of Wisconsin--Madison. Learn more and take action at PETA.org/UWCats.
In laboratories across the United States, millions of animals are suffering in horrible ways—and you're paying for it. On the taxpayers' dime, animals in laboratories are routinely mutilated, poisoned, deprived of food and water, forcibly immobilized in restraint devices, infected with painful and deadly diseases, burned, decompressed, electrocuted, irradiated, shot, addicted to drugs, and psychologically tortured.
In 2010 alone, universities, colleges, hospitals, and other institutions received approximately $12 billion for projects involving cruel experiments on animals. Public funds have recently been squandered on the following inhumane studies:
Please help PETA end this cruelty by using the form below to contact your representative and senators in Congress. Respectfully urge them to divert public money from cruel animal experiments into promising, lifesaving, and relevant clinical and non-animal research.
I love Lush products and most important their policies about animal testing. The video below is of a VERY courageous young woman named Jacqueline Traide. A 24 year old woman that underwent 10 hours of "animal tests" to protest and raise awareness of animal testing. I have so much respect for this young woman. I don't know how she did it but she did for one day... unlike so many animals that have to their ENTIRE lives.
