Grand mama... The happiest person I have ever known.
She always looked at things with positive direction. She was amazed by everything and never grew bored of the little things in life. She really was the most positive and joyful woman with a hunger for knowledge and the curiosity of a child with wonder and amazement in everything she saw and experienced. To say she glowed would be an under statement!
Today I found that my lovely Grand mama has died. She passed in April 8 weeks ago today. I would never had known if a restaurant hadn't posted on Facebook that she would be missed. Why they posted I will never know but I'm glad they did.
I'm in bits and heart broken. She was 90 a great age but still that doesn't really seem to matter right now. I just miss her... I haven't seen her for a long time but that doesn't matter either. I always loved her and I know she loved me.
Grand mama I will miss you and I love you! You helped to shape me and I hope some of my qualities (besides my big feet!) I got from you! Your light will never fade!

Sun Jifa, a farmer in China, had his life changed forever when an explosive he planned on using for fishing went off prematurely. He lost his arms and when he couldn’t afford high-end, hospital-made prosthetics he opted for a cheaper set. Finding those to be less than acceptable, Sun started building his own pair of arms, which he currently wears. It’s an incredible story of ingenuity and personal strength.

"A wild raven perched himself on our fence and squawked for over an hour. I went to see what was up with him and saw that he had four porcupine quills stuck in him, three in the side of his face and one in his wing. This video shows my Mom taking out the ones in his face. Very bizarre he let us get that close and even more bizzare he let my Mom pull the quills out. He hung around for the day and was gone the next. Best of luck Wilfred (yeah, I named him) lol"

We've had 'Free Hugs' for years, but how about selling 'Deluxe Hugs' for the purpose of giving someone less fortunate a big Act of Random Kindness? That's what the young director of the ethical clothing brand Ark° did in Dublin recently, selling hugs for a euro so he could bring a homeless man out for a proper evening meal.

When I think about this it makes me want to do the same. Just think... If just once a week when we do our shopping we bought something someone could use, clothing, food or whatever by Christmas we could have at least 50 presents to give to help someone that needs it. What do you think? I can do it... Can you do it too? I figure even if I gave my items to a charity that help people in need... I COULD HELP! Even make a difference! let me know if you do or might like to do the same thing.
I'll keep you posted on what I'm going to do. Let me know what you are going to do and I would love to post it here! Let's help each other and make the world better!
