Trying to explain what it looks like reading with dyslexia is not an easy task... One night Hubby and I had a long conversation about this subject. I had to really examine what it is that I see when I read... After a long conversation a lot of thought and insight into my dyslexia I don't think I could really express a clear of for that matter even a fuzzy picture for Hubby to understand.
My hero Hubby found this online and after another long conversation I think we both understand dyslexia more now.
I find the following very easy to read and can read this even better than I can most things! Haha!
I have found after this bit of research that my brain is actually really cool and super fast! I don't read or focus one word or even one line at a time... Reading is a puzzle. It's like my brain takes the whole page and all the information together all at the same time and fills in the missing pieces to complete the puzzle!
Dyslexia isn't a disability.
Dyslexia is a challenge to understand. It's different ability and I feel like one that has made me view the world in a different way! A better way!
Seasonal affective disorder (SAD), also known as winter depression, winter blues, summer depression, or seasonal depression, is a mood disorder subset in which people who have normal mental health throughout most of the year experience depressive symptoms at the same time each year, most commonly in the winter.
