Antiques and Artist
My grandmother and I used to go to all the antique shops around! We collected tea tops, tea cups, I collected boxes… I know there were more I can’t think of or care to list! :~P she would get me… “Let’s go here” then when we got there and finished… “We could go on out to…” then where ever that would be! I don’t know how she kept going! I would be exhausted and she could just keep going! We had some really fun times! She would get an idea of something she wanted she may have seen it in a magazine or where ever and we would be on the hunt! Or the antique version anyway! I'm the same! I love antiques! Always have!
Anyway today I went out for a little while on the photo hunt! There was something I wanted to get a shot of and of course this is NOT it! lol! It will be put up some other time… I took this in a little shop I have seen and wanted to go into but never took the time…. Today I did! I bought four handkerchiefs in the shop next door to this one… but the person in this shop was very friendly when he saw my camera. He said “it’s a great day to take pictures” I explained to him I was taking a picture a day. He had coloured pencils on his desk and I asked if he was an artist… he was delighted when I took him up on the offer to look at his artwork and quickly displayed a few lovely colourful drawings for me to look over! I told him he should illustrate a children’s book! He was tickled! He confessed within a few minutes that he was only copying a picture he was looking at but he was really good! Copy or not! He shook my hand before I left! :~)
In the shop next door I kept looking up for Gran…
I have decided to do a Project 365! Here is just a bit of info behind every pic.
I have an Etsy shop now! Check it out here!!!!
