A Sunny Day
It was sunny today! Yipeeeeee! A really beautiful day so we had to get out and soak up the sun! We took a little drive and had lunch in a place that's very special to both Michael and me. (It will be in my 365 later so you’ll find out about it then! :~P ) then we went to visit a grave and had a look round the cathedral beside the cemetery. I am always amazed about places to worship... they usually have a “feel” about them. But I get that about a lot of places so maybe it’s me. Anyway this one had a nice feel to it. Old with new... I thought the confessionals were storage closets! I swear I did! Till Michael pointed at the little red lights on the outside to tell if it’s occupied! Just the thought of the little red lights is really funny to me and I don’t know why! Lol! I'm just really dense sometimes!
Anyway... nice feel to it. Where was I.... oh yes! It had a nice feel to it... it made me feel calm and peaceful. For me that matters. I wouldn’t stay in a place if it had a bad feel to it! Would you?
I was not really raised with religion. My parents didn’t go to church, and my grandparents... well one grandmother did some but only when I was very young. Don’t know about the others. The first time I went to church was when I was about 12. I spent the night at my friend’s house. I couldn’t understand why we all had to get up so early in the morning? Surely God would let you sleep in? Wouldn’t he? I didn’t understand one thing the preacher, or whatever he was, said either but he seemed to be very angry.
I read a fair amount of religious books as a young adult... (Did I get away with the “young adult” thing? Please someone tell me!) Personally I would be Eastern. That's just me! I always respect what others believe though. I would never want to offend someone’s beliefs...after all your beliefs are what you are. Aren’t they?
I have decided to do a Project 365! Here is just a bit of info behind every pic.
I have an Etsy shop now! Check it out here!!!!
