A Welcome Friend
I have been in an anti-internet/computer mood for a few days now. Sometimes I just get like that… so I have been working on a doll I'm crocheting; I think I said that yesterday :~) oops!
Anyway I didn’t work on that today either… so I guess I'm not very motivated at the moment! Oh well that’s life! :~) I'm sure I will be full of ideas and energy soon enough! Today may be the start!
I love robins! They are just so cute!
When I came here the first time to see Michael in person we were followed by these lovely little birds! It was just so perfect too… Michael’s father loved birds and his fav were Robins! So we both felt like we were being watched over! :~)
They really did follow us too! On the second day I was here in Ireland we went out to this lovely place. Glendalough and in the car park with trunk and back door wide open a Robin appeared! Not only did he appear but he decided he wanted to check out the car! And also what was in the car! First he hopped around the back of the car and on the trunk lid and then in the trunk! Michael and I standing back dazzled and amazed smiling and holding hands…
After a good snoop around the trunk he decided to venture into the car via passenger side back door! And I mean all the way in the car too, not at all shy! We couldn’t believe it! :~) We both knew…. Michael’s parents and my grandparents were all happy we had finally found each other! Everything felt so right! (Still does btw and getting better every day!)
Anyway…. The little Robin searched the car had a good look around us and then he was off… there was only a very few people there that day and in fact the very first photo of Michael and I was that day just before of just after the robin courted us!
He did make a final appearance though; when we walked to the entrance of Glendalough… he marched in front of us on this wall about waist high leading us all the way to the entrance! He was about 10 or 15 feet in front of us all the way! Hop! Hop! And then he would look back at us! What a cutie!
That was the first encounter with a Robin! They always bring luck and I love to see them so much!
But we haven’t seen one since the day before Christmas till today! Yippee!
I even have a tattoo of a Robin! :~)
I have decided to do a Project 365! Here is just a bit of info behind every pic.
I have an Etsy shop now! Check it out here!!!!
